Wanna see what $120k looks like?
Well....here it sits. *drools*
The car....carbon fiber EVERYWHERE: http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...ket_41189_.jpg The supercharged heart of the beast: http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...ket_41190_.jpg Close up of one of his wheels....soooooooo light...and expensive: http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...ket_41219_.jpg Any yeah...that's my sissy ass 426HP Camaro parked right behind him. :lmao: |
Nice, but what's the use of the hole in the hood, if all you can see is that plastic shroud? How about letting us see the actual engine?
|
It's a mess of spark plug wires and shit under there...looks bettah with the engine cover on. Same deal with the Camaro too.
|
Drool.
There is one around here that I'll see cruising around now and then. Badassness |
My manager has one. Love the exhaust note on that thing.
|
Would be a hoot to drive.

Not impressed, Its cool and all, but its just not my cup of tea
|
I'd rather have the Z06.

Wonder if that clear plastic window will turn yellow over time due to heat and sun.... |
If its good enough for Clarkson, its good enough for me...I love that car and its brother, the CTS-V.

You guys crack me up...."it's a lump"...."I'd rather have this, that or the other thing"....
What the fuck evah....you'd drive the piss out of it and be glad to have the opportunity. :lmao: |
Actually I'd be scared to death of effing it up.

They need to make a low budget pickup.
Bring back the Chevy Luv and make it a ZR1. |
i just cant see spending 120k on a corvette.
maybe if i was some oil tycoon and a like 30+ other cars i would consider it. |

Have they taken any of that money and put it into making the interior not complete and total plastic shit, or are they still pulling from the old Cavalier parts bins?

I always got a hard-on with a 2000ish body style Silverado with an LS conversion.

Back in the day, less interior function was fine. The drivetrain was what counted. I don't stare at my interior when I'm hauling ass. I agree for the price paid it should be better but I wouldn't buy something like this for interior looks. |

I've always thought Dodge's (any vehicle) was the shittiest and most plain.

seemed like he was asking about (question marks) high end Dodge vehicles, like they might have better quality interiors.
|
You guys crack me up...."I wouldn't drive THAT"...."It's a plastic heap of shit...blah blah blah"....acting like your Jeremy Clarkson...or Jay Leno...people with the resources to REALLY be particular about what they drive. (And Clarkson LOVED the ZR-1....just say'in.)
If someone parked a ZR-1 in your driveway and said, here, it's yours to drive....every one of you would pull a fucking hamstring rushing out there to drive it...to go show it off to your friends. (Well, except for Slice...who would likely stand there whining about how it's paint didn't match his shoes....you know, to look "cool" in front of the other gay ass hipsters arriving in their beat down "I got a great deal" Audis  ) |

That cah makes me hahd in my pants. I'd drive that cah ovah to the Nahth End for lunch. Then I'd pahk in front of Faneuil Hall and sit on the hood with my Bruins jersey on so everybody would know how wicked awesome I am. I'd drive to The Cape anytime it is wahm. Bettah? |
If someone gave me this car, I would immediately put if for sale. I could go out and get me a lot of moto stuff for the money I would get from this car and it wouldn't be worth it to drive it and risk reducing it's value. I see $$$ when looking at it, not fun factor.
Motorcycles a billion times > cars |

Its just not a car I would buy. If I wanted to buy a vette, it would be a ZO6. If I wanted that drivetrain, I'd buy a CTS-v wagon with a 6spd thank you. |

It is called the glass half empty syndrome. Plus, I'm sitting here in front of a computer......I can't drive it.......All I can do is look at it and make comments. Meanwhile I have the free cash to not need a mortgage, and to nibble on stocks as the market goes down... |

Did you finally retire the Probe? Is it the 5v 2.8 V6 or the 1.8T? |
The Probe needed too much work to justify for something only worth $1,500, lol........struts, paint job, tires......
Wanted a 4 door anyway.....with AWD for Tahoe trips It's the 5V V6........The 1.8T is a good motor too, but only if the previous owner used good oil and changed it regularly You can get Audis cheap because their resale sucks......People get afraid of them as time goes by |

if I had my choice and i have over the years I would take the camaro over the vette. I have had almost every generation of camaro and love them. that said I would take any of those old muscle cars over any new corvette/camaro whatever. Another thing why do guys with factory stock new cars think they should "show" their cars. they're nice and all but if people want to see them they can go to a dealer and then they can even take it for a spin.
