and yes i cover my bike at all times, yes that is a goverment vehicle and yes he had the balls to say it was partially my fault for parking were he could not see it in his mirrors...

" you know that crotch skooter that is always parking in the lot, yeah i hit it"

Trip 08-14-2008 01:59 PM

Uncle Sam should pay for it, make sure you inventory every little scratch on the bike and make him replace every part. Repeat after me, EVERY slight scratch.

Rider 08-14-2008 02:01 PM

Should of punched him square in the mouth...

smileyman 08-14-2008 02:08 PM

Whata Bastid!

Gunther1000 08-14-2008 02:15 PM

What a douch! I would be so scary mad I might loose my job over that one...

If they didn't make it good with you I right away I would have called the law to make a report.

Thats all the law is good for... Paperwork.

Anything break?

NONE_too_SOFT 08-14-2008 02:20 PM

turn a lemon into lemonade. like trip said, fucking go over that thing with a FINE TOOTH COMB. as far as he knows the bike was emaculate before he hit it, and it should be restored to that condition.

Gunther1000 08-14-2008 02:26 PM

Well I know who is getting that bent lever fixed...

dReWpY 08-14-2008 02:43 PM

Did he look in all his mirrors? No trailer, no topper, nothing in the box = no excuse. Dumbass shouldn't be driving gov vehicles.

Especially if it's "always" in the lot like he says, should be used to seeing it, thus looking for it.

Sorry man, get that fucker fixed up back to brand new!

dReWpY 08-14-2008 03:09 PM

sato pazzo new plastics.. yummy

Captain Morgan 08-14-2008 03:12 PM

Was he backing into the spot? That's what it looks like. If so, then he should have fucking seen it before ever trying to back in!!!

the chi 08-14-2008 03:13 PM

I would have beat some serious ass, what a jerk!!! :sorry:

dReWpY 08-14-2008 03:15 PM

even worse, he was pulling out

imagine a 350# officer, me pissed and its right infront of everyone at work, they all saw it

i now have a set of fairly nice track plastics

MikeSP1 08-14-2008 03:26 PM

Crying ass shame man. I don't really know what I would've done. My toys gonna be on a boat soon, hopefully nothing like that happens. I've got enough on my mind right now to worry about repairing damage that I didn't cause. Good luck with that prick though.

r!der 08-14-2008 04:21 PM

DAMN THAT BLOWS. Hope you're able to recover for all damages.

dReWpY 08-14-2008 04:22 PM

Thats what Im wondering...youve got to be a complete fuckin moron to hit a bike that is parked in a spot next to you while pulling out.

Mr Lefty 08-14-2008 04:44 PM

and looking at the tire that showing... it looks like he knocked it over on the Stand side... WTF... you really gotta hit the bitch to push it all the way over that way... as opposed to the slight bump that it seems to take going the otherway... but I guess if he didn't see the fuck'n thing sitting there... ya can't expect much

BobTheBiker 08-14-2008 04:44 PM

dumbass. for all he knows the bike was fucking brand new before he hit it. hell, make him pay out of HIS POCKET for all the repairs, and a new bike. go ahead, you've earned being an asshole to "the man" so bend him over and have your way with him.

dReWpY 08-14-2008 04:58 PM

yeah, the kickstand was out and he knocked it over and onto the kickstand, and those microns i dont think i can get anymore

picking it up was a bitch with it like that, leveraging over that and up, at that point i prolly could of lifted gmans chopper i was sooooo pissed

that pictrure was not staged, im good about snapping pics as soon as something happens, ask nick, thats how it looked as soon as i turned around

Mr Lefty 08-14-2008 05:01 PM

you should get a bright fuck'n yellow cover.... or red to match your bike... just so it'll stand out a bit more

fnfalman 08-14-2008 06:20 PM

It sounds like The Man is gonna owe some greenbacks to you. File with the government and have them pay it off so that you don't have to go through your insurance. Take that mutha to a dealership and have the dealership do a full work-up.

HIS insurance wont have anything to do with it. contact the douche whom hit you's insurance. or like fnfal said get the gov' to pay for that bitch.

t-homo 08-14-2008 06:32 PM

Damn man sorry to see that, but at least it seems like you are going to get the better end of the deal and he didn't drive off.

Mr Lefty 08-14-2008 06:32 PM

I'd go through the insruance.... god knows the government is gonna take MONTHS to pay out.

though I know this from having a friend wreck my truck... depending on the state... the VEHICLES insurance may be primary... so you'll have to file the claim with them and what every it won't cover... THEN the drivers insurance is liable. that's the way it is in Oregon and AK... damn it

LOL, Now that is a funny post! Your great ebbs. I laughed a good while at that one.

I'm glad cooler heads prevaled and you dont now have to look for a job and new bike parts. I just know me and Shit like this would have me pulling a dude out of his truck and getting me placed under arrest quicker than I can tell my brain "no don't, Wait there maybe another way!"

It was still rideable I hope... No broken levers or anything? Oil leaks?

dReWpY 08-14-2008 07:51 PM

bent clutch lever, bent rad bracket, broke exhaust seals, scratchs on the can sleeve, scratched mid pipe, gouged left fairing and front, bad end ripped and bent, clip on bent, top triple tweaked

i rode it to the dealer after work and told them goto, the sato pipes are 1197, for microns they were 1189 back in the day so they said they would quote the sato pipes for the repair bill

crazystang26 08-14-2008 08:40 PM

dam that sucks

Gas Man 08-14-2008 10:38 PM

That blows... but everytime I have ever had a insurance claim... I have made out.

Do the repairs yourself and save a bundle if your insurance will pay out the shop quote straight to you.

Further, where are the pics of the bike itself?

And "pissed off enought to pick up gman's chop"... hey they are SUPER easy to pick up.

BobTheBiker 08-14-2008 11:28 PM

I think he meant like literally lift the whole chopper off the ground kind of pissed.

dReWpY 08-15-2008 12:15 AM

what sucks is that i dont have another car, i have i to use pc's saturn which i swore i never would again, well, i lied... atleast the state is going to take the hit like a man, my only question...
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU WALK PAST A BIKE< GET IN YOUR CAR> AND THEN HIT THE MOTHER FUCKER PULLING OUT, FORWARD, YOUR A FUCKING COP!!!!

you my friend have never been near a set of sato banziai pipes before... :panic:
they are unholy, if satan rode a mc he would rock an RC51 with sato pipes when as he went along stealing souls from small babies in the womb

Mr Lefty 08-15-2008 02:45 AM

I'd say Growlers are satan's pipe of choice... Sato's are for Stalin, Hitler, and Nietzsche.

Gas Man 08-15-2008 09:51 AM

While you are at it, I would ask for a "get out of jail free" pass for the Dragon.

You could use that.

Honestly, dude's a retard. He knows he's retarded which is why he was making excuses.

It's just a bike. He is in the wrong. There are witnesses. It will get fixed.

The round thing in the front of your seat is the steering wheel. You use it to turn the "car". The long skinny thing on the floor is the gas pedal. It makes the car go. The wide thing on the floor is the brake. It makes the car stop.

Customarily, people don't wear leathers inside a car, but you can if you want.

Helmets tend to scare other drivers.

Good call!

I would like to add that your passing regimine will also need to be altered.

I would jst stick to following the cars during this "car" driving. You may not be used to that but give it time and you should arrive at your destination.

Also You will need to push on the brake (listed above) to shift from park.

Hope this helps and may God be with you!

An if you miss that hot summer swamp ass feeling, you can always dump some 30 weight down the back of your pants.

Gunther1000 08-15-2008 03:20 PM

To climitize your body you will need to turn the heater on high so your in the right climate.

And you wont need to shift this time around, just put it in "D" and like magic it will do all the shifting for you! Pretty cool but not always the raciest gear selection.

The Best is walking into a bank with my Helmet on trying to deposit a paycheck...LMAO

dReWpY 08-15-2008 05:52 PM

i got yelled at a gas station for trying to buy something with my helmet on, i think it was a pack of gum, she wouldnt sell it to me, i was pissed and caused a scene, never went back to the gs again, and will never go, its the closest one to my college but fuck them, they were a bunch of old cunts in there anyways

t-homo 08-15-2008 05:58 PM

My best friend's dad works at a bank as the VP or something like that. The first day my friend got his bike, we rode up to the bank to show his dad and as we walked toward the office, one of the secretaries almost had a heart attack. It makes it worst that there were like 4 bank robberies earlier that month and we live in a town of 12K.

FT BSTRD 08-15-2008 06:23 PM

I KNOW why you don't want to take your helmet off.

bike is prolly consdiered totaled by most insurance companies man... maybe you should consider getting a salvage title and turning it into a track bike, and pick up another 600 or something for 5k.

dReWpY 08-15-2008 08:37 PM
