Newest.....

Found this one by accident. Made a tentative deal today and sent him some cash, subject to inspection (bike is 5 hrs away). Nice bike, a couple minor flaws, but only 9200 miles (it's a '98).

Anybody wanna guess what it be?

750 Formula

They have a database for Italian bikes.

Amber Lamps 09-09-2008 09:09 PM

the dual exhaust is throwing me a little. I could have swore the 750 Formula was single exhaust. Did they make a liter bike in '98?

Is it to fix it up and turn around and sell it, or a keeper? My opinion is that it's a '98. Modern bikes FTW.

I got it super cheep. My plan is to fix the minor issues and use it as my daily driver. I'm so paranoid parking the Bimota at work that someone will knock it over, it's no fun to ride it cept on the weekends. For what I'm paying for this bike I can drive it daily and not worry, or I may park it up at the cabin in western Maryland and not have to worry about slabbing up 70 and 68.

Dnyce 09-09-2008 10:16 PM

it says laverda on the tank lol

u got it cheap enough to make it a daily driver, cool. id be worried about the bimota too personally, but the laverda is still outta the norm, which seems like ur style

Nice find!! :dthumb:

OTB 09-09-2008 10:55 PM

Bikes came stock with Paoili or White Power forks and shocks, Brembo Gold line brakes and Marchesini Wheels. The bike also cam stock with Termi's and it is LOUD .Bike makes 92+ HP, weighs right around 400 lbs as it sits.

I rode a friend's Ghost Strike a few years ago and it went around turns on rails.........

Trip 09-09-2008 10:56 PM

Thats awesome OTB, thats a nice bike
