good that was the onlything that stuck out to me...

looks fuck'n pimp though!

DLIT 10-08-2008 09:00 PM

Looks good. Are those Jordan decals stickers? the ones with the circles and him dunking it? I'd say take the ones on the upper off. There's too many too close to each other.

looks tight as hell! good job! :dthumb:

as for the decals, looks like the actual race bike. :idk:

JoJoYZF 10-08-2008 10:33 PM

Other than the aforementioned S on the tank, it looks sick. Now next time you go hunting, use a gun and not your bike.

Amber Lamps 10-08-2008 11:30 PM

Ok,I'm going to put 1 larger jordan sticker on the middle of the tank and do the "S"s in a larger outlined version like the race bike.

Just get a White light screen made with 20 printed on it & leave it the way it is.

yep 2007 (I don't like lt blue that much) I thought I'd change it up a little plus I had carbon fiber I wanted to put on. I went with two "jordan"s to break up the white but it doesn't look right. Oh well, that's what I like about vinyl....

Oh and that's a carbon fiber windscreen and it ain't going anywhere!

smileyman 10-09-2008 10:39 AM

Great looking ride! Now you need to get Jordan's autograph on it! Or Aaron Yates if you can keep from getting kicked!!

ceo012384 10-09-2008 12:06 PM

Looks fucking great.

It would still look bad ass with a screen over the light. It does dim it a bit at nite tho.

Something like this.

Just a random quick search but this is the link.

I'm sure your decal guy can make you one thats just white or even work in the number but it would be bigger than just the light to look right.

Shift 10-09-2008 12:10 PM

Still not a fan of the gold. :idk:

Gunther1000 10-09-2008 12:35 PM

Nice, The Windscreen and the seat set it off Man! I would personally fo with the "s" in real carbon like I have. I just think it looks good. And your's would stand out. Not sure where I found them but i'm sure someone makes them out there.

Painting the tank was a good move!

Um...gold? Oh you mean the rearsets and the stock forks. Well,I do have black Gilles rearsets but I don't have the chain adjusters and I guess I could paint my forks black and buy a black chain.... Nah!

DLIT 10-09-2008 11:40 PM

I want my fork tubes to be black. Anybody ever painted or powdercoated their fork tubes? Don't even know if it's possible.

Mr Lefty 10-09-2008 11:47 PM

I imagine you could paint it... powder coating... I think you'd need to do some disasembly of the fork and really make sure they don't over spray...

be intresting though

DLIT 10-09-2008 11:55 PM

That's the only thing that gets me. I miss the black fork tubes on my '06. They revised the fork tubes for '08 and don't know if the '06's will fit in my triple clamps, if I were to come across some.

Amber Lamps 10-09-2008 11:57 PM

Buddy has a R6 and painted his forks. looked good!

Dave 10-09-2008 11:57 PM

bike is looking sweet tiggs!

well I doubt it if one of the improvements was handleing...

you can always try painting a set... if it doesn't work or looks like crap... send them off to be powdercoated... but I'd only do a spair set... so incase they fuck something up... your not out riding time

Gunther1000 10-10-2008 04:42 PM

Plenty of info on home anodizing out there.

Here is a link to one I found with a quick search. I did this to a set of rims for a dirt bike once.
