Thanks I thought it was pretty neat.
Paging Gasman to come tell us what kind of bike that is. The size of that front tire is nuts, almost bigger than the rear. Front fender is pretty weird also.

Well,it's got a springer front end...Harley board tracker?

Did Triumph make bikes in the early 1900s?

Yes they did. They produced their first motorized bicycle in 1902.

God could it be a Vincent? I can't find that suspension set-up anywhere,it looks like a springer/leaf style front...

Smittie61984 10-12-2008 11:10 AM

Fuck the bike. I want the car, the lion, and the dame.

I changing my vote to an Indian Chief.

Triumph was born as a Bettmann around 1883-84. Triumph came about 1886.
The Springer front started in the Early 1900's but I cant find the same style as in the pix.

HD had a smiler setup but still used the coil spring in the early 1900's on the sport.

I know! It's killing me! I've seen a similar front end on several bikes but not the same. Btw according to their website,1902 first "motorized" bicycle and that wasn't even a Triumph motor but one made elsewhere.
