# Racetech fork springs
# Gold valve emulators
# Replaced bashed up engine case cover
# Custom Sargent seat
# Replaced teal and pink stripes with *STARS*

2006 KLR 650

24,000 miles

Farkled up for adventure dual sport type riding and camping. Gets commuting duty pretty much every day. Ice and snow are about the only things that keep it off the road, and we don't get very much of that around here.

http://i36.tinypic.com/2d80x7k.jpg

2006 GasGas 280 Pro

Basically stock. I use it to win trophies.

My bike

87 Honda CBR600F Hurricane.

Miles: 41 or 42k, cant really remember which right off hand. still runs great after I find some new pilot screws and jets for the bastard.

Used for: sole transportation, general hell raising, whatever I feel like.

Mods:pretty much stock, except for fresh fork oil and an Ohlins rear shock.
Soon to be a 98+ Katana 6/750 rear wheel and brake caliper+hanger(4.5" wheel for better selection of tires)
Otherwise everything is OEM on it.

PhiSig1071 11-11-2008 02:14 PM

2003 GSX-R600, bought it new, now has almost 30k miles. It's my track hack.

Mods:

Micron Exhaust, K&N, Remapped FI, Steel Braided Lines, EBC HH pads, Race Tech Fork Internals, Race Tech Rebuilt shock, both sprung for my weight, double bubble screen, ValterMoto Rear sets, ERC Stator cover, Woodcraft Frame sliders.

The suspension stuff wasn't cheap but it was the best money I ever spent on my bike.

http://photos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...99215_1524.jpg

2004 KTM 625SMC, 6k miles, track duty, street hooligan.

Gutted exhaust and airbox, that's it (Oh and a luggage rack, 'cause I'm effed in the head like that). It already has full WP suspension, Brembo monobloc brakes, steel braided lines etc. Love/Hate this bike, I'm working on it when I'm not riding it. It's the most fun I've ever had on two wheels, but it's also about ten times the work of the GSXR.

Scrapin peg:

Nice shot of the luggage rack

MikeSP1 11-11-2008 02:38 PM

I used to ride my pig with 3 other RCs and an Aprilia (amongst other I4's). It was a glorious thing to hear us coming, big twin thunder without the pavement cracking vibes. If you've still got her when I get mine back to the states, we'll have to go riding sometime.

It's all good, I believe you. I've just never thought to put deer screamers on the forks. BTW, beautiful bike

PiZdETS 11-11-2008 03:21 PM

Thanks.
I get a lot of people saying they like my "brass" wheels. I usually say "yeah they look great but they each weigh 200 pounds, it sucks." They don't get it and I walk away feeling superior.

Actually not attached to the forks, just the front fairing undernose...thing. They handled multiple high-speed runs, I installed them in July I think ?

When I get my camera, I'm thinking about mounting it where your screamers are. And the best part about getting dirty (bikes, thoughts, women), is getting them clean!

And scooters FTW

My 1993 K75SA, Pearl Alpine White, Corbin Saddle. I got it about two and a half years ago with just under 16K miles. I've now got about 37K miles on it. Since the picture was taken, I've added a 22L topcase, Autocomm, MP3 Player. The current Pirelli Sport Demon tires are the best traction combination - time will tell if they're going to last any "reasonable mileage".

For some unknown reason, especially at night, traffic seems to 'get out of my way' when I run center track down the LH lane of our local freeways... :idk:

Ok, I was told to get my ass in here and post the goodness that I have for all to see.

So, without further adieu, I give you the first steed, my 2000 TL1000R.

She is graced with Marchesini 5 spoke magnesium wheels, Penske triple-adjustable rear shock, Traxxion reworked front forks, Yoshimura full titanium race exhaust (cans *and* headers), Kevlar clutch and brake lines front and rear, and the top end has been reworked with ported heads, polished valves, and a little extra compression. I also built a custom license plate bracket to tuck the signals and plate up without losing any of the monster trunk space!

If anybody knows where I can get a Yoshimura race kit computer, speak up! I could really use the adjustability with the motor work, as I bang the rev limiter at 11,500 like yesterday. I could really use another 1500 rpm. :D

Here are the pics. Steed #2 coming up next.

And for my second trick, the 2003 Hayabusa. Mere mortals fear this motorcycle.

Mine has 51,000 miles give or take and has visited 46 states and 6 Canadian provinces in 5 years of ownership. I'll polish off what's left next year. :D

She's been decked out with Krauser hard bags, GPS and mount, XM sat radio and mount, accessory fuse block, and Throttlemeisters. I also have some 110 watt driving lights with brackets, but I haven't wired them up yet. I don't need them *just* yet, but when the time comes, I have them. :D

'73 H1 Triple 11-11-2008 09:25 PM

1993 Kawasaki ZR1100. It was originally named the "Zephyr" but due to a lawsuit by Ford Motor Company, the Zephyr name was dropped. Due to the negative publicity, the ZR1100 was only offered in the US in 1993.

I purchase the cycle in June of this year with 18K on it and I just turned 23K a few weeks ago.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...DCP_3745-1.jpg

I did purchase a Slipstreamer SS-28 fairing to extend my riding season. I ride to work as much as possible & it's 18 miles each way.

The ZR1100 was purchased so I had something to ride while I restore my 1973 Kawasaki H1 500.

Here's the beauty after 22 years of storage ( it's running in the pic)

I've got a 2002 VTX 1800 C I bought new in Jan of 02, 34,600 miles this week. Use it for commuting, keeping my sanity and making Harley's look silly when they try to run me :D It's got at least 7K worth of chrome, progressive suspension, chrome, polished billit, chrome, ultimate seat, chrome, VTX F Spec3 wheels, chrome, Proton4 intake (only about 128 made) and did I mention...chrome?

Had an '86 V65 Magna before the X, found it used in '98 with 16K on it and it was in great shape, fun bike. This was my first street bike. Had 24K after a year and a half and I sold it to a buddy after I got my X.

Insurance fraud is wrong dude, that's fucked up you're even thinking about it.

off-topic, I'm writing a satirical, metaphorical song about the economy, here's the lyrics;

Make a copy of the ignition key,
paying with cash at a mom and pop hardware store with no cameras that's a good ways away from where you live.
(drum solo)

(chorus)
Wait two months.
Wait two months.
Wait two months.

Park it and leave it running in a terrible neighborhood at 2 in the morning,
IN THE MORNING!
IN THE MORNING!
IN THE MORNING!

have a friend pick you up in a car with the license plate removed.
Wait two hours,

two hours!
two hours!
two hours!

report it stolen from your friends house,
your friend who picked you up is your alibi as you were watching tv at his place all night when your bike got stolen from his driveway.

(chorus)
Wait two months.
Wait two months.
Wait two months.

Get money for your stolen bike, buy a gsxr.

(guitar solo)

Ok, here we go.

1988 GSXR1100J. Used for everything I can come up with. Daily rider, canyon strafing, two-up riding, bike nights, etc. ~63,000 Km.

Mods: Devil full system, steel braided lines front and rear, busted up bodywork courtesy of the last owner, exhaust leak, trashed rear shock. It's actually going under the knife sometime in the next couple of weeks to fix the shock and bodywork, then it's off to paint and powdercoat.

2004 Kawasaki ZX636R B1. Used for noddagoddamnthing. Sitting in storage in the US since April 2007 and will be until at least 2010.

Mods: M4 high-mount slipon, BMC Filter, Vortex Frame Sliders, ZG Dark Smoke Double Bubble. I can't wait to get this thing back.

http://i34.tinypic.com/21ls4yq.jpg

1995 Kawasaki ZZR400 (wife's bike). Used for making my knuckles bleed and increasing my vocabulary. This thing had been sitting, exposed and uncovered, in a parking lot for 3 years when the wife set her heart on it. It's since had a new chain, brakes all around, rebuilt carbs, rebuilt front master cylinder, new fuel lines and fuel filter, new air filter, spark plugs, oil change, battery, and a bunch of other little shit (like removing rust from everywhere). It's actually at the shop now getting inspected and should be road legal sometime next week.

Bike: 2006 GSXR 600, 4800 miles.
Bought it wrecked with 3000k on the clock after the previous owner laid it down in a parking lot. Bought it in March of 08 for 4k and started putting her back together.

It is my very first bike and I love her to death.

This is what she looked like the night I brought her home. Mostly cosmetic damage.

Just about new OEM everything, and added some Woodcraft frame sliders.

I also removed every sticker and non OEM parts that the old owner had on it including some cheap ass GSXR grips.

Needless to say I am home from Alaska and looking to ride the crap out of it.

sorry totally missed this... actually gave the mirror extenders to Cutty to try and fit on his 1125R...

as for the bags... no damage at all... the left saddle bag MAY have some scuffs... but other than that... perfect.

I pulled the HID kit.... tried to get someone here a good deal on the rear sets and exhaust, levers ect... but he didn't wanna ship his crap to me... so I said fuck it.

as for the gear? I'm not sure... I'll need to get a new tank bag at least... as the tanks I'm looking at... NONE are metal so the magnetic tank bag needs to go. the saddle bags and tail bag... not sure... I'll have to think about that.

They worked fuck'n awesome. the ONLY down thing I had to say about them is the rain covers... they don't secure worth a shit... and if they fly off... they're gone. so I had to put them on... pull the bungee cord... and with the extra bungee cord... secure it to the bike or bag by tie'n it. worked but you'd think they'd think of something better :idk:

marko138 11-21-2008 07:41 PM

I had to ditch my magnetic bag when I got the buell. More and more tanks are plastic now.

Ok here's my beast....

2004 CBR 600 F4i
Bought new 10-17-04 (first bike), now at 146,700 miles and counting. Used each and every day, for anything and everything. Daily commuting, tearing up the twisties, bike nights, trips to the store, riding cuz I'm bored, going on both short and long roadtrips, and any other excuse I can find to spend some quality time with my baby. Pretty much you name it, we've been there

Mods include:
-Puig light smoke double bubble windscreen
-Proton flushies
-LED integrated taillight
-PC III USB
-Speedohealer
-Geared down (-1) front sprocket
-Hindle titanium high mount exhaust
-BMC Race air filter
-Heated grips
-4300K HID kits (both high and low beams)
-01-03 F4i split seat tail swap
-Factory Pro shift kit
-Vortex frame sliders
-Ohlins steering damper

There's not really much more I have planned for this bike... probably just a few small things here and there, nothing major. I really like it the way it is now :dthumb:

2008 Buell XB12r
No mods except taking parts I didn't want, off..

I use it for therapy. Any spare time I have, and the weather is cooperating, I'm usually out riding.

Proof is in the pudding, we have a short season and I put on 8700 miles this year.

Likes: It's a stump puller. Very nimble. Sounds different. No mid fairing.
Cons: It doesn't even begin to touch the acceleration of a modern sportbike. I could beat one to about 30. Stay even till about 50. Then by the time I'm done shifting into second, he's doing 100..

fnfalman 02-11-2009 05:13 PM

My bike has two wheels and a motor. It goes vroom, vroom when I roll on and off the throttle.

street riding and track days
no modifications. I'm trying to save for a car that I desparately need. I bought the bike 4.5 years ago instead of a car... now it's really time for a car.
if I bought any modification it would be a steering damper.
