Made the wife scream today

...... get yer minds out the gutter.

Went on the annual Toys for Tots ride today and had the wife ride pillion. We were in a really nice decreasing radius turn entering the interstate. I wasn't riding aggressive, but we carried a fair amount of corner speed and lean angle. All I could hear was her screaming, and all I could do was laugh. :rockout:

My wife's exactly the opposite. If we're not dragging hard parts, she doesn't feel like we're leaning enough. She's actually in the MSF BRC right now getting licensed to ride her own bike. ;)

Awesome... on both your guys accounts.

nothing like a terrified wife to make you laugh on a ride. I woulda laughed then cranked the bike over more for fun.

Yeah, comonboys doesn't like riding with me, says it's scary? :idk:

eh, she's got her own anyway, better that way.

:idk: first time Jeeps took me out on the GSXR (my first time on a sport bike) he gave me about 20 miles to get used to the difference in seating then went WFO down HWY 215 (very tight twisties). Scared the hell out of me and thrilled me all at the same time. I was hooked right then and there!! Now I have a M on my license and my own bike. :lol:
Although I can't come close to what he can do it's still fun and I'm hooked for life!

I tried to scare my wife on the bike by taking a corner leaned a bit more than normal - she was like "Why didn't you do that BEFORE? That was FUN!"

t-homo 12-08-2008 07:21 PM

I'd be scared shitless on the back of a bike. I have a control problem.

Me and the ex-fiance were on my V65 one day and I cooked into a hairpin on a road I didn't know (oops), nearly a foot dropoff into a rock ditch and a rock wall 6 feet off that. I managed to get slowed enough to make the turn dragging everything hard under the bike (felt like it anyway). I had the seat in a cheek lock and she starts laughing and screams "lets do that again, that was fun!!!!!"

If I'd had the old bias tires on there instead of the D205's we'd have been cooked. That was pretty early on with me riding and I learned to not over ride a new road.

If I would take my wife riding again, she would start smoking all over again. 2 pack a week addiction off the bike, 1/2 per pack per stop on the bike.

So we always take short rides. You think gas is expensive, her cigarette habit while riding is killer;
