New car

To me anyway. I guy I work with recently lost his mother. She left him her car. She was elderly and rarely drove. I picked this up for $4000, it's an '02 with 23000 miles. I was more than happy to get rid of my mustang for it.

I've known him for a very long time, he just wanted to get rid of it. He knew I would take good care of it.

HRCNICK11 12-19-2008 04:55 PM

That my favorite caddy body style....well except for the sports car.

But keep a eye on te oil useage some of the new one had real soft piston rings, I'm not sure what years or models. My dads had problems at about 40,000 with the rings he had a friend at a dealer theat explained the situation and it was traded for his new truck.

I think my dads was a 99-01 fleetwood. You know the crazy big one.

you have now got a old car to match your grey hair. now you will start pulling out in front of bikes and cutting them off.

:lol; Hi Dustin!!

Gas Man 12-21-2008 10:07 AM

Nice car.. ignore these fucks... tint the windows, or even some rims if you so feel. But don't do anything stupid to it. Enjoy the caddy for what it is meant to do... lavash you in luxery, drink gas if you full throttle it, and take you up a class. Nothing beats driving an american luxery car. You have the class and money to afford one but yet enough class and couth to still buy an american car.

Ninjakel 12-21-2008 10:12 AM

he tinted it yeaterday and put rims on it last night

Leon 12-21-2008 10:23 AM

New pics, tint and wheels done, and that's about all I'll be doing to the car. It's now perfect the way it is.

Leon 12-21-2008 11:11 AM

I'm sure it handles better but you lost some ride smoothness. The change is all about the tires...

Looks good with the rims. Hopefully it won't attract everyone to think there's something of value inside. Definately invest in an alarm with those rims!

I'm coming from an 88 mustang, so I'm pretty happy.

gr8whytehunter 12-22-2008 09:44 AM

did you pull your stereo

Leon 12-22-2008 10:40 AM

Nope, I left everything in the stang.

The Caddy head unit sucks, but it's got a decent set of speakers and a 10inch sub with an amp. Eventually, I'm going to change the head unit to a double din touch screen and leave the rest alone.

Very nice car. Not my style, but when I hit 60 I might roll in one of those.
