AquaPython 01-14-2009 08:39 AM

pretty cool, does robocop come with it?

shmike 01-14-2009 09:19 AM

Bleh.

Not feeling it.

AquaPython 01-14-2009 09:19 AM

it would prolly pop more if the grille and rims were gloss black

shmike 01-14-2009 09:27 AM

Gloss black?

Nigga, please.

You don't get a tribal arm-band tat, work 3 hours a day in the gym and spend $100 on an Affliction t-shirt to rock gloss black.

Gloss black, don't be such a conformist.

z06boy 01-14-2009 09:30 AM

Badazz car but not liking the flat black either.

Rsv1000R 01-14-2009 09:34 AM

Flat Black has got to be about the worse color on the planet to put wax on. It turns white, and not a nice even white, a streaky messy caked on white.

I suppose they could have some kind of coating on it to prevent that, But if they don't it'll look nice until the first time it gets dirty, and shortly after that it'll be for sale lol

RACER X 01-14-2009 09:34 AM

i like it!

OneSickPsycho 01-14-2009 09:35 AM

Chrome mirrors look fucking terrible. Otherwise awesome.

AquaPython 01-14-2009 09:51 AM

ok, how about gun metal rims? i would rather have that car in a different color, just trying to imagine it looking better

you do know you aren't supposed to wax flat paint, right?

To clean flat paint all you do is get some brake cleaner and spray on and wipe off. That is all.

I like it though. I love flat black

Lino 01-14-2009 10:01 AM

looks tactical

neebelung 01-14-2009 10:44 AM

Hmmm... I love flat black, but I'm on the fence on this one....

Yeah you might be onto something there. Just something to accent it a bit. I mean it's HOT, but it could be hotter.

No thanks. I'll take the 911 turbo though.

MILK 01-14-2009 11:00 AM

<---- I like everything flat black. It's hard to pull it off on a car though. Have any pics in brighter light?

PhiSig1071 01-14-2009 11:06 AM

Nice!

Oh and BTW, that is a Benz AMG flat black.

THIS is a flat black Merc:

They have clear coated flat colors now that you can wax.

And THAT is the proper allocation of flat black and the right amount of shiney accents. :dthumb:

I was thinking pop-out machine guns.

I dunno, it's definitely an attitude car... I kinda like it.

FUCK YEHA!!!

Leon 01-14-2009 11:45 AM

It's a AMG, I'm sure there's about 10 coats of clear over that flat black. You can wax the hell out of it.

I like the color, but it's missing some details.

plusone

If you're going to do a flat black, you need some shiny trim, and preferably silver wheels. Something completely flat black looks like a fucking 19-year old riceboy car.

Sorry RacerX, that Mercedes looks like shit.

And by the way, yes you CAN wax fat black, IF it has clear coat over it.

Riceaholic 01-14-2009 01:15 PM

My old Suburban was the same color. The difference is if you run into something with that car, you don't wanna touch it up with some Krylon rattle-can...
