A much better solution
Many of you read the thread where I created a robot-looking headlight setup for my bike to be functional between TDs. After riding and taking another hard look at it. I realized something... I had lost my fucking mind (As many of you pointed out)
So I can up with a better plan. That will actually be less work than the first one. Here is plan B http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/a...0/100_1863.jpg http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/a...0/100_1864.jpg |
odd... but who gives a fuck.
why dont you just sell the z1000 and get another 750? |
MUCH better! All you had to do was wire those to your current head light wiring, or what? Was it that easy?
|
I like it:dthumb:
Kind of a rally car/bike look. |

yeah right? the buggy eyed gixxer. |
I like it. Turn signals not required in your state? I know in mine they don't require mirrors or signals.
|
There's a guy on another forum who's also local here that has a similar setup with his R1... His aren't as cleanly done, but I think the wires everywhere I don't give a fuck look is kinda cool cause it's so obviously a track bike.

I have a murder boner.
Make love to mother earth, dig a small hole in the ground, fill it with water for lubrication, and go to town. Just a thought... |

Yeah, me, kyle, and kevin adopted Green Team as our race team name. Even though we don't race and we aren't environmentalists. Kyle may eventually run WERA though, so there is a chance it could actually be a race team.

There we go. That looks 100% better. Is the brightness good enough and/or comparable to the stockers?
|
Man PA sucks. We must have 4 turn signals, headlights, the whole fucking deal.
|
what if you put smaller projector style lights in the Ramair duct openings.
|
they'd have to be really small to not block the ram air... AND... he'd have to create another bracket... with the ones he has... he uses the sold mount for the mirrors

Still better than NC though. They require windshield wipers on cages, but you don't necessarily have to have a windshield :skep: |

That was an awesome video. |
that works.. just wondering how bright they are?
i know someone with a track sv that just mounts them on the forks.. i could get pictures and find out what lights he is using - some kind of leds i think.. his set up looks really good.. |
I would be interested in seeing that and getting more info on where he got that setup.
