If I could pick one person on this board to ride with it would be DLIT, this is based on a video he posted awhile back, it looked like me and my crew running. So what that said, if you could pick one member to ride tomorrow/today with who are you picking?

Tigger or Yamerhaw.

From what I've read, they both ride like I do. Like a spirited pace, willing to take it up a few notches, but nothing to prove.

Hard question to answer since I don't really have a feel for most people's riding styles on here.

No one picked me b/c I'm fat, old, slow and ride a Buell.

I was just about to pick you so I could be one of the only ones to meet the legendary marko. Plus Im slow enough to make you feel like rossi.

If I was to choose,I'd probably go with Trip or Yamerhaw because I think that they both are better/faster riders than me so I could learn something from them. Actually,there's a lot of guys here who could help me un-learn some of the bad habits I've accumulated over the years. I spent a couple years trying to muscle a RZ350 around the track and then I spent 5 years forcing a V-Max through corners trying to keep up with my buddies on crotch rockets before I got one. Unfortunately,I STILL have the techniques I used to do those things embedded in my psyche and I have a hard time letting them go.

I'd pick ya marko. Not sure about the fat and old parts... but the rest fits with me ;)

I think it would be either Marko, Tigger, OTB, No Worries, Ebbs, Jeeps, Cutty, or many of the hott girls. I just can't choose....

Yamerhaw could be my pick as well, and he's just a few hours away. My parents don't live too far from Tigger so the next time I visit them and have some time I'll try to hook up with Tigger I certainly fall into that have nothing to prove category, I have the wife and three kids to come home to (well for that matter the wife is usually a few paces behind me to keep my in check on most rides anyway).

I'll ride with anyone who doesn't act like a total idiot and do stupid things to put me or anyone else on the ride in complete danger. Of course some of spirited rides could be dangerous, but there is a fine line between being stupid and spirited.

I think I'd like to Return the Ladie Spot with CrazyKell (something abotu riding a CBP ZX6R that does me in!!!)

And I'd pick Dave since we just got in from a Ride together but thats to Cliche...I'd say Yamerhaw.

dang guys, you're making me blush, i wish you all could ride with our group, always good times, though most of us "ain't right" but we'd probably have you laughing a lot....well that and a little hauling ass...though its usually a fairly quick pace, we dont ride stupid ; stay in our lane, dont make "many" crazy passes on cars, but we do have a couple of guys that are fairly new but they dont try to keep up or push it, they seem to really want to learn how to do things the right way gradually and not get in a hurry to be "fast"

No favorites for me, I'll ride with anyone once and that determines if I want to again. I'll be in the back until I can get the FZ if we're on a tight road anyway ;)

I've done a trackday with Kell, Leon and Aquapython. All of them were fast and safe and cool as shit. I'd ride with them anytime.

Or on the right, you'll knock em over with your luggage.


I'd ride with anyone. I'm sure 95% of the forum is faster than me so great learning opportunities. I need to head a few hours south and ride with smiley sometime though. Or a few hours west to ride with g-rex, or a fair number of hours north and ride with jtemple.

So the long hair can buy me a sceond ride, plus I can fix people up on the roadside.

all of our friends are happy if me and or my friend MK come out since her an ER MD and I am a PA. best part is he thinks i am working right now since hes my supervising doc tonight ;)

Im truly honored to be chosen. As for me, I cant say for certain. Theres no one here that I wouldnt want to ride with, and I'd love to meet everyone! And while theres many that are near and dear to me, Im not naming names...

I want to go diving too, I can barely swim though, would that be a problem? I have a problem floating.

Well, you want to sink when you dive, so you should be good! :lol:

If your swimming problem is related to floating, then it shouldn't be an insurmountable problem, however, being comfortable in the water is a big part of diving. If you're comfortable in the water then it should be OK, if you are very uncomfortable in the water then it might be a problem.

I love the water, i just have a fear of drowning, which i think is reasonable. I'm such a bad swimmer though, i expend a whole bunch of energy doing a whole bunch of nothing trying to float that i just wear myself out so unless i can touch the ground, i stay out of the deep end. Now if i can wear floaties, then i'll be good.

I should probably go take some swimming lessons so i can go participate in more water activities.

Swimming is a requisite to pass the scuba course. They make you swim approximately 200-yards or so.

However, in real life, you really don't need to know how to swim or even swim that well. There's a thing called a buoyancy control device (BCD) that keeps you afloat when you're on the surface and helps you maintain a certain depth when you're underwater.

And if you dive in cold water like California or places where it's cool enough to wear a wetsuit or a drysuit, you ain't sinkin' at all. These suits will float you like a cork.

Those roads are sick man. Nice scenery change from the trees and drop offs we've got here.
