I put in some hours on yesterday. Got most of the damage repaired and started working on the headlight. He's where it is so far. I'm hoping to have everything ready for paint by next weekend.

Looking good.

Will the single light have Hi and Lo beams or just one?

Leon 04-13-2009 03:55 PM

It will be running a low HID.

I haven't sanded or started on the bondo/resin. I've only mounted the cup and put down glass to repair the damage. This coming weekend, I should be able to get everything smooth and ready for paint.

Here's a better angle of the headlight mount.

Racerboy 04-13-2009 11:44 PM

As always, exceptional work!

BobTheBiker 04-13-2009 11:46 PM

at close range HIDs are freakin hazardous to your vision.

Leon 04-14-2009 09:10 AM

Especially if you take the ballast and bulb out of the box, don't actually put the bulb into a headlight and fire it up. Right casey?

AquaPython 04-14-2009 09:12 AM

he is probably trying to reply but cant connect his fingers to the keyboard

Moto Phil 04-14-2009 04:20 PM

BICH 04-14-2009 04:45 PM

jgalt 04-14-2009 05:36 PM

The bike will be doing double duty for a while until I can get another street ride since I sold the DRZ.

Leon 04-14-2009 10:21 PM

A number plate will cover that up nicely.
