Well i missed my damn fairings today. came in the mail and i wasnt here to sign for them. Damn the luck.

Anyways, im pumped. I have to work on monday though, so that means i wont be able to pick em up, and i wont be able to get a hold on them until tuesday, so heres the scenario: Should i call off work and spend the day with my bike, or should i just tough it out and forget about taking a holiday about it.

well... depnends on what you think the fall out would be... you are taking time off soon.... so timing isn't the best... but who knows...

if you can get away with it... do it...

How much time do you have? If it's a situation where you have to use it or lose it and you typically don't take much. Might as well spend a day with your bike, if you are at the ragged edge of not having time then be patient grasshopper

I scheduled around the weekend and said i have "finals" that week. as in i "finally" get to get the hell out of ohio for a while. no problem there.

I've got tons of Paid time off, but as far as sick days go i really cant do too many, i think i took one a few months ago for the hell of it, so im not sure if im due yet.

Lets Just say i wont loose my job over it.

then do it. if I hadn't just gotten back from texas... and knew all my parts would be in on monday I'd take it off too...

Make your little sandy va-jay-jay better by only going in half day so you only have to burn 4 hours or WTF ever.

For me, work comes first, so I'd go to work. I would, however, try to break away at some point in the day (lunch break, maybe?) to pick the stuff up and then install everything that evening when I got home.

Seriously, whats more important? making sure that there is food on the table and a roof over your head? OR playing with your bike?

Its an obvious choice, Taters whore of an ex wife will be here tommorrow, but there is no way in hell that the swine flu you have just contracted will let you do any decent work today. Your bike however needs its daddy to fix it and make it feel good.

I've got somebody to cover half a day... so i think i'll just take the other half as a personal day.

fuck food on the table and a roof. If i've got a bike whats the point in haveing a roof to go back to every night anyways.

no idea man. im just heading south on wednesday in a couple weeks and hoping for the best.

I assume you got these already based on another post I skimmed. But if not, what I do is leave a note for the driver authorizing him to leave my items with my signature. It's worked so far.

w/ the new electronic signy thingy's they wont do that anymore. I had to actually go to the post office to pick them up anyways, cause the package was HUGE.
