Who all is riding this weekend?

Post up your routes.

We are just going for a pretty easy ride. Should be a hell of a good time.

Rider 06-24-2009 10:26 AM

My seat will be a bar stool, throwing down 16 ouncers.

Amber Lamps 06-24-2009 10:28 AM

I'm riding to Topsail (sp) Island, my gf's family has a house on the beach. :boobs:

marko138 06-24-2009 10:30 AM

I wish. And I hope. We'll see when the Legislaters decide what hours I'm working this weekend.

Fleck750 06-24-2009 10:40 AM

Bastard.

Posting pics of curves when I'm stuck up here in flatland Kansas. :bonk:

t-homo 06-24-2009 10:47 AM

Ha. That is the best loop we have and you know it. We can try to get another ride together for the 4th. Maybe, idk if i'll be able to move that weekend. I might be in a perpetual state of drunk.

Would like to come down for the party, might stay at Mac's in AR.

I think I've forgotten how to go around curves anyway. :bash:

Yea here's Fleck's ride plan for the weekend...

http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/l...kansas-800.gif

69 south from KC, west on 166 and back north on "crazy" 169. Better watch out for that right hand, off camber carousel turn outside of Chanute!!!

pwned.

smileyman 06-24-2009 11:50 AM

I have family obligations every weekend thru July 15. its ok though since it is too bloody hot to ride in the daytime! T you ever find a track day ride yet?

t-homo 06-24-2009 11:59 AM

I ended up riding at Hallett the day I went to watch. It was incredible. Wish you could have been there. I plan on being at the one in Spetember, hopefully riding again.

z06boy 06-24-2009 12:04 PM

Wife's family will be visiting so I doubt I'll be riding the bike much this weekend but I'm sure I'll escape for at least a quick jaunt with a friend on his R6.

We'll probably be on the lake since it will be hot and they like to go out on the boat.

That isn't all bad though...I could be stuck in the house with them watching crap on TV that I don't care to watch or driving them around checking out the area.

If I can't be out on the bike I'd rather be out on the water than "cooped" up in the house with the extended family ...

smileyman 06-24-2009 12:06 PM

I am trying to buy a streetbike before fall so I can be there on my 636. Only problem is I need to sell the 636 to get the streetbike I want which leaves me nothing for track days...

t-homo 06-24-2009 12:15 PM

Use the 636 for street and track. Just tape that shit up and you are good to go at hallett.

smileyman 06-24-2009 12:38 PM

I could and should. I just dont want tp tip toe around on street tires and gearing when I can really lap fast in trak trim. I am too lazy to swap back n forth 4 times a year...

Sixxxxer 06-25-2009 01:01 AM

Ill be working...But pending nice weather...Ill be riding to work :)

Mrs. Colleen 06-25-2009 01:13 AM

Going to try and do this...

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y47...0Pics/Ride.jpg

...this weekend. :beers:

101 sucks but the 150 and 33 are great. Little to no traffic and mostly all twisties. :beers:

192 is good but makes the ride MUCH longer as the speed limit is much lower.

Amber Lamps 06-25-2009 01:33 AM

Okay I give up! Someone give me directions on how to post google maps! I tried everything and couldn't get it!

marko138 06-25-2009 10:53 AM

Well, what a turn of events. I'm not working this weekend after all...so I'm gonna try to get a few miles in. Haven't even rode the bike with the new Pazzo's yet.

Whose ride are you looking for? Ebbs is running up to Omaha in a week and a half.

For us, we are leaving Springfield at 8:30, running down 125 to 160, cutting across Branson, then running 176/173 to galena then back to springfield.

smileyman 06-25-2009 03:54 PM

Both those are perhaps too far N for me. I thought I heard Ebbs mentioning he would be near NW AR sometime soon

The Awesome 06-25-2009 04:39 PM

I'm thinking about having my first ride since my crash this weekend. It will be slow and short. Probably to the gap to sit for a while, then back home. It would be a nice reward for all of the work I put in over the past year.

Yeah, he is heading up through NW arkansas and springfield on his way up. Maybe we can convince him to stop for a day/afternoon to ride Push Mountain. I've heard its insane, but never been there.

Nice route! Check out Lockwood Valley Road from the 33 to the 5, then you can take the 5 south back to civilization.

The House of Representatives was nice enough to decide I dont need to be at the Capitol this weekend. For that I am thankful....though it means we are no where close to having a budget in place, which also means come Tuesday I will have my last paycheck until they pass one.

Yeah, real fucking nice. Great, actually. So lets hope these law makers get their shit together pretty quick. But I can tell you that the two sides couldn't be farther apart then they are right now.

Gas Man 06-26-2009 10:34 AM

Well what a bunch of fucktards!

Sherman Oaks

t-homo 06-30-2009 01:43 PM

bump!

This is the first half of our trip, then figure out how to get home from there. Maybe turn around. maybe go 14 to 265 to galena, then up some country ass roads home. BTW, fleck and zed, joey and I decided to take it off of the board and say it was cancelled because we didn't want a ton of people we didn't know going on a long ride like this.

I ended up putting in about 150 or so this weekend.
