Eclipse Luggage Mileage Update. July 9

What kind of miles does everyone have so far?

Phenix_Rider 07-09-2009 12:33 PM

When was this supposed to start?

I haven't been keeping track. More than a lot, less than a few...

tached1000rr 07-09-2009 12:34 PM

Off the top of my head w/o checking I only have about 2800 on the RR and I've done about another 1000 or so on the F4i, no one has to worry about me winning

No it does not make me feel better, that would be like graduating 3rd in my senior class and then someone asks how many people were in my senior class and I say 5 :D Since you are bikeless at the moment.

marko138 07-09-2009 01:24 PM

Zero since I didn't enter.

Sixxxxer 07-09-2009 02:08 PM

I started at roughly 5500...I'm at 8800 now...

I'm not winning either...Lol

t-homo 07-09-2009 02:31 PM

I've only got 3-4K too. There has to be someone out there with a shit ton of miles.

Trip 07-09-2009 02:44 PM

He already has 100K racked up this year. Just mail him the luggage now before the x-mas rush.

No shit.

Gas Man 07-09-2009 04:02 PM

I put in about 2k already but will probably do nearly that much this weekend alone.

derf 07-09-2009 04:54 PM

Between the broken hand and now the pending lawsuit I doubt I'll break 3k this year on my bike

G-Rex 07-11-2009 11:32 AM

I've got about 2000 so far, but I do have plans for about another 7000 to tack on to that....so...I'm not done yet! :whatwhat:

thirdgenlxi 07-11-2009 12:00 PM

I started at 155,300, now after my recent 2 week roadtrip (just got back last night), I'm at exactly 165,462.

Sooo.... 10,162 miles for me so far :)

tommymac 07-11-2009 03:13 PM

I am almost at 5k but am now depressed after that last post

There any prize for second,

Tom

You did an iron butt and that's all the miles you have? :poke: :D

I bet Frank has ridden more than you.

LMAO! :sorry:

Hey at least the contest started when it did and not the beginning of April! I had another 6,000 mi just in April alone, before the contest even started (cross country trip to AZ, then trip to NC/TN, then trip to MD/VA)

I can't help it :backingout:

That was low.

On another note, I have done zero commuting or highway rides other than the Iron Butt. Everything else has been twisties, mostly 125.

tommymac 07-12-2009 01:24 AM

My commuting miles are what will keep me competitive now esp since we moved and are further away from home. Although to win the contest I may need to start taking the scenic route home and cut through canada

Tom

t-homo 07-12-2009 01:32 AM

I doubt there is any way I will win. I live like 6 blocks from school/work.

yeah you wont rack many miles that way. With one of the jobsites i work at its about 105-115 miles round trip depending on which route I take.

You drive 50 miles each way to work at wawa? Don't they have any closer? I thought wawa was a big chain out there.
