That isn't too surprising considering the Nissan and ZR1 are on high performance street tires while the ACR is on DOT race rubber. That's like comparing two bikes, one on pilot powers, the other on pilot power races. 4 seconds isn't exactly something to get worked up about under those conditions. In fact Dodge should be a little sheepish that it was only 4 seconds faster.

I don't think they'll let that slide...

Why did they start the clock at the end of that little straight, and stop it at the beginning.
Looks like they are trying to cheat some seconds.

I think that that spot is the generally accepted start point vs when you actually leave the toll booths

Not too much room for run off. You would be into a guard rail before you know it.

Have you guys ever seen the woman racer that ran a van around that track on Top Gear? She was blowing by sportbikes in the corners. :rockwoot:

That was an awesome video.

At least the guy who dove in the turn before the viper/van team probably felt like he was kicking some ass...

That is the old start point for the actual race track, but Nissan left out about 100yds of track from their timer.

Rangerscott 07-11-2009 08:51 PM

He probably didn't shit before so that's were the 4 seconds is.
