Look close, there is not much that is the same as stock. Aside from the obvious plastics, exhaust,tires and forks, the frame and the swing arm are different. Rear sets are different as well. The ONLY thing those bikes have in common is the basic shape and the Yamaha name behind it.

Can somebody attach the non-stock R1 pic, so I can view it from work?

At the IMS show.. the new R1 was one of the few that stood out as one I want to buy... in white.. but I gotta do something about that damn red seat

Sexy bike I think... but that seat.. OMG that seat... thats the first mod on this one... the ugly rear fender can stay so i can get the seat re-covered in black

Ugh...that stocker is gross. Almost as gross as the Kawi's.

Yeah looks much better without the "rat fink" eye balls popping out.
