Agreed! when we found our house it was listed for more than we were willing to pay. We said what the heck and gave them a crazy low ball offer, $40,000 less than they were asking. We figured they would say no but would at least let us know what the bottom line was. Imagine our surprise when they accepted our offer!!!! Then got a bonus after the home inspection brought out the fact that the house needed a few improvements they droped another $10,000 off the price
Now even with the fall in the market we are still ahead of the game!
This is a big investment try to make it the best deal you can get!!! All they can do is say no but you never know they may say yes!!
