I got 18-19 city/highway with my 2007 with a 5.3L and I know a few that own Titans that get 13-15 all the time. 2-3 MPG more when you are in the teens is a huge advantage.

I can get over 20mpg downhill too.
Don't forget, you are comparing a 5.3L to 5.7L's.
An extra 30-40 hp/tq makes a huge difference too.
The GM 6.0 has 20 more HP than my Hemi, makes the same torque and get worse mileage. But that's not a fair comparison, is it?
