I have this setup. I find the tail bag to be too small for clothes packing. Two pairs of folded jeans and its almost full. I the cram my socks to the side of the jeans, then undies on top of jeans. I put my shirts and what ever else stuff in the saddle bags.
I turn the saddle bags around. Seem to get less drag and winding fight with them that way.
