And legal costs. Seeing as how almost half the award goes to the attorneys in most cases.
Funniest thing is class-action suits against businesses........The person who came up with the idea of the lawsuit typically only gets a pittance, like $10-50K, while his attorneys get millions. I guess some people suck at negotiating.
