If Honda would build a V5 or an v-twin high end sportbike, I would probably get rid of the Harley next year for it. I'd have to ride a v5 first, but a V-twin... mmm... I had a cbr1000rr, and that thing was so smooth it wasn't fun to ride. Power was unbelievable, but it didn't have that 'I'm gonna throw you 300 feet through this turn if you fuck up' feeling that I loved on the RC51. I fight with my Harley at 90mph more than I ever did with cbr at 150mph 
I dunno, just didn't like the feel of the I4. Sure I was a little faster with it, but it wasnt as satisfying to ride. |
I can understand that, my V-Max was the "funnest" most "interesting" bike I've ever owned.
