There are some claims that the 600 riders are being "endangered" because they are being forced to overide their machines to keep up with the Buell. I don't agree with that necessarily. There is also talk that the other race teams are flirting with the reliability of their bikes to try and gain horsepower to be able to keep up.
I agree it's a problem. I like the diversity of the class but on the other hand it does seem contrived...
