I had an issue a while back where ... I forgot the reason, but it was burning oil. Like, blue smoke 'n shit. It was fixed under warranty so I didn't really listen to what the guy was saying. Hope it's not acting up again.

Did you look in the airbox for oil? The 675's had some breather issues...not enough pcv, SO AT SUSTAINED HIGH RPM'S THEY WOULD PRESSURIZE THE CRANKCASE AND PUSH OIL OUT THE BREATHER IN TO THE AIRBOX. Sound like your issue?
GO look in the airbox for oily residue.
