Minor issue. Bolt came loose (thanks vtwin) from the shift linkage. It bent and I couldn't get it tight because it was bent. So I had to turn around and take it home on my way to meet Tom. I got a new bolt, after the HD parts guy searched the store high and low for 20 minutes to find it.
Oddly enough, it was shifting really smoothly. Thats how I knew something wasn't right.
Didn't have that normal HD clunk..it was just sliding right into gear. Which was nice, but not normal.
