I have over 200 movies in various formats (WMV, AVI) and my music library is mostly mp3 with a couple of flacs.....everything tagged.
Can you just copy em over usb and thats that?

Droid: Plug in your USB cable, click a button on your Droid to mount the device and it will show up as a USB storage device on your desktop. Then you can drag and drop whatever files you want.
AVI/MP4 play well, im sure it plays mpg but I havent tried it. I tried one WMV which it started to play but stopped, might have been the file. This is with the built in player.
