I've used both. I like both. I recommend Macs to computer illiterates because it's much easier to use IMO. Price is finally starting to get a little easier to swallow.
My next computer will most likely be a Mac.
However, this doesn't change the fact that an Apple logo is a status symbol for a lot of people that own a iphone/Mac/ipod
