I think yamaha did similar things with the fjr, I know heat was an issue with the older generations and they adressed that, I guess the ST market is that competitive that they listen to wha tthey have to say.
As for the magazine reviews I usualy take them with a grain of salt, you dont know what sort of bias they have for or against a bike. Plus it seems like all of them now jsut flog the bikes at a race track and post their times. |
