I'm not really interested in selling my bike. But, I have it on the local classifieds for 8000. I figure if I get somewhere near that, I'll let it go and get a more touring oriented bike. Until then however, I don't really care if I sell it.

I love getting emails like, "I'll give you 5000. They were going for 7000 not long ago." Well thanks for the heads up chief. Little do they know my dealer will give me 6700 on trade in and that's without haggling at all. Could likely get them closer to 7000 if they wanted to move a bike.

Am I wrong to think I'm part of a seller's market with this thing?

Either way, I'm not selling it unless I get a good deal. But, I'm just curious what you guys think is going to happen to the value?
