Well, being able to step up and jump into the bed is pretty cool I guess, but not if the bed becomes 2 feet narrower as a result.
I guess they were hoping it'd become a beach cruiser/chick magnet, used primarily for hauling people and beer, rather than anything useful.
I think they were on Baywatch for awhile
