I'm not sure why a Ranger isn't an option. They have great manual transmissions, rear ends and dead reliable engines. Not to mention they are cheap.

Tacomas are overpriced. They are not the Toyotas of the 1980s and early 1990s, thus not worth the extra cost.

I owned an Isuzu I-290 (same as Colorado) junk IMO.
