honestly misshell, i think a maz5 would be prefect, we considered it before, but for 800mi trips i didn't see it being to comfy, but i don;t think you'll drive that far on the island......lol

it's great little city car, handles nice, the kids your enquiring about at least the older one can prolly slide the door by himself(herself) and the younger will be there soon.

our lil mazda has been great, i just had the assoc. belts changed but other then that, no issues in 75k, had 1 recall, but it was nothing really.

our ody has a recall right now for a brake issue, that hasn't come up to us, yet.
