"The Man" is a slang phrase that refers to the government, leaders of large corporations, and other authority figures in general. Most HD riders these days are "The Man." Lots of doctors/lawyers/judges/engineers/CEOs. They cost so much, the man is the only one that can afford to ride the damn bikes and pay for their $50 t-shirts.
