7k RPM... You can't even get to 7k! 
1) When you're as... *ahem*... wide... as I am, wind protection sucks on just about everything. You get used to the lack thereof. I enjoy the breeze.
2) 3rd gear is your friend. It's the only fucking gear you'll ever need. Cruising speed is a solid 75mph and is just about perfect for any situtation. The only time mine gets out of 3rd is when I'm on the highway or Drewpy's crazy ass decides to hammer it in the straights.
3) I can't wait to get mine together... I'd love to compare!
4) Front brake is good. I got some new pads ready to go on... Hopefully they'll provide a little more feel. Rear brake is only good for standing the fucking bike up in a turn. Don't ever use it. |
The damper is a LSL...tucked in nicely under the bottom triple.
