Asheville isn't really country, that's more the surrounding areas. We got a lot of nice bars, we have some good shows come through (
http://www.theorangepeel.net/ ), a lot of outdoor stuff to do, but the Blue Ridge Parkway and a bunch of other roads are worth the trip alone. We also have a lot of local breweries.
