I've been using synthetic underwear that wicks away sweat for three decades. Polypropylene, Cool Max, Wick-Away, etc. Hiking, biking, skiing, or riding, the stuff works fantastic. But it also absorbs smell, so you need several pairs. I have a ton in every color and length. I buy different brands from REI, a discount sports store.
