I doubt if a big truck like a 250 is getting 26mpg over a typical city/highway fuel tank. More like 20.
My uncle "claimed" he was getting "50" mpg with his Cummins diesel...I was like yeah OK.
Dude was prolly looking at the instaneous fuel economy when the injectors were being turned OFF during a coast.
