I've seen the same thing with Suzuki TL-Rs. People want a lot of money for 10+ year old bikes with higher mileage and in less than perfect condition. There aren't a whole lot of options for V-twins though especially since most people seem to avoid Buells and older Ducati superbikes are just as expensive and much more maintenance intensive.

I personally like the RC and especially the TL. My brother had a TL years ago with Blue Flame slip ons that had an amazing sound. I've never heard any I-4 that sounded anywhere close to as good.
