You can find a mid 80s Mondial for less than 20k easily, and find an old seven, elise, spirt, and even the post 2002 US imported elises are staring to hit the sub 20k range.

You are talking about basically a rental fleet, people abuse those cars worse than anything else, I give your opinion no consideration whatsoever.
