That was entertaining. I will say, in their defense, I and many others were told to stay away from the rear brake as it was more trouble than it was worth for braking. (Not that I listened,
just ask Trip) And when giving a newbie the basics, I tell them to leave the rear brake alone till they learn to control the front.
