Possibly. The weird thing though? I know of at least one other person with a 954 who wheelies the shit out of it and just beats on it in general...Trouble free as far as I know

Anyway, I'm not saying these bikes ended up in this shape because they were so well taken care of. I always got a vibe from mine that it lead a pretty hard life before I owned it. The Mechanics I've talked to just seem to think they dont stand up to abuse, or even poor maintenance as well as others.
