Glad we never have to worry about that.. if anyone asks my dog is a lab/husky mix. You can only see the rotty if you know what you're looking for.
Our insurers know nothing of our new dog, but they might have known about our previous lab from when we moved in. I'm with the others.. if you feel you have to add him to the policy, then play dumb and say lab mix. I'm sure you could get away with that easily.
