but the majority of cars on the road are POV's... (personal owned vehicles) if the average consumers vehicle went from like 10-25mpg to 35-50mpg... I guarantee the price of Gas would dip below $2. though everyone would still be filling up... they'd be doing it less often and spending less money. the Oil companies would have a surplus on their hands in a few months.
