If they ever wanna return to that old long-lost chestnut of "protect and serve", maybe I can find a little compassion in my heart again. Right now, I can't help but feel that they are any less than predominantly "the enemy", and are not there to protect fucking anybody, anymore.

They need to do some house cleaning, and get rid of the bullies. By protecting them, as they have, behind that thin blue line, they've made their own beds, and now must dodge the resultant bullets while lying in them.

Running way low on compassion for LEOs right now...and I feel deservedly so...

That's one of the dumbest things I have ever read on this, or any other forum.
