well, that was the main reason I never pushed the lease thing, I thought I'd be moving up to Broward and didn't want to be stuck in one, but now that I'm staying in Dade, it really doesn't matter.

Ahem....before you going packing your bags, realize that no matter what she has posted to your door, you are in the dwelling and you have CHILDREN. This changes everything. Evictions take months when there are children involved. Check out the Fair Tenant Act which will explain in detail all of your rights as a renter, contract or not.

it's from the court, it's a 5 day notice, it's pretty cut and dry Bill. Can't the Sherrif just come and start throwing my stuff out the door?
