We had an ok night, I covered fast track and housekeeping stripped the floors so I was displaced for a few hrs. Then they all came in after that. 2 transfers from a satelite clinic. One OB case and a nice tri maleolar fracture/dislocation. The dude at the other place did a prety good job reducing it. It's good to know we're not the only ones with psychotic housekeeping people who are deadset on stripping the floors at awful times. There's a group of about four housekeepers who get together to strip the floors, and they're all about half useless. They always pick the most asinine times to do it also. What's that? ER's packed and we're short on beds? Don't worry, they're just going to strip and wax six rooms and the main hallway. That, or they'll do half the entrance, because if they only do half, then their massive shit is in no way blocking fire resue/ambulatory services and if it does they won't mind squeezing past. Luckily they only stretch out a 26 room ER over 4 days.
