I had a similar experience at VIR last year.

Yeah Sig, that tach was definitely running for its life.

Amazingly i patched the bike back together with a fiberglass kit and some duct tape..........replaced a clip on and raced the next day.

Only injury was a ruptured bursa in my elbow.
