Ebbs is right,I run the Ti sprockets and am very happy with them. They save A LOT of unsprung weight and they last forever. I had 40,000 miles on my '03 and the teeth still looked like new. I haven't noticed any unusual chain wear but I'm very meticulous when it comes to lining up my chain/sprockets. Besides,I've never seen a chain "wear out" but only "stretch out" if you know what I mean. I got the tri-metal sprockets and a top of the line chain for under $200 direct from supersprox. Apparently they ran out of that $200 deal for TLR's and only have the $350 deal... well, no 17 tooth front sprockets in stock... I'd either have to go -2 or up 1 in the front. Fuck that.

Esjot makes steel front sprockets for the TL from 13-19 teeth, and rear steel sprockets from 38-48 teeth: http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/EsjotFront.cfm. And the prices are reasonable.
