Shoei hemets fit oval heads pretty well (me) and I use a Shoei with a Hi-Def shield. I tried on an Arai Profile and it seemed more comfortable than the Shoei, however I have not ridden in an Arai so I don't really know what they are like at speed. Hmm I dunno... He fits Arai... in my experience it has always been if an Arai fits you well, Shoei is going to be the wrong shape, and vice versa.
