Actually,the tires were new when I took that pic AND I get off the bike enough so that I don't have to scrape the pegs to get around a corner! Of course,you're right at my age and considering the amount of damage I'm carrying,I don't chase the limits of grip like I used to. I'm happy with double posted limit these days...
